Course Overview

This Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention Training is designed to help workers, supervisors, and employers understand their legal rights and responsibilities under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), including the 2016 amendments under Bill 132 and the 2024 updates under Bill 190. The program covers workplace violence, harassment, sexual harassment, and domestic violence in the workplace. It provides practical steps to meet legal requirements, establish clear reporting and investigation processes, and build a safe and respectful work environment (Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development [MLITSD], 2023; Legislative Assembly of Ontario, 2016; 2024).
