Course Overview

This WHMIS Awareness Training provides workers, supervisors, and employers with the knowledge needed to understand their legal responsibilities under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and WHMIS Regulation 860. It explains the federal alignment with the Hazardous Products Act, the three WHMIS core components (labels, Safety Data Sheets, and worker education), and the shared duties of suppliers, employers, supervisors, and workers.
