Safety Management Systems Designed for Real Operations

OMHAS develops structured occupational health and safety management systems that integrate with the daily operations of an organization. Each system is engineered around operational risk, workforce responsibilities, and organizational structure.

OMHAS systems are built for organizations committed to establishing safety programs that function as part of daily operations.

How We Work

Step 1: Preliminary Consultation

We begin with a conversation to understand your organization, your operations, and your current safety structure.

Step 2: Operational Audit and Assessment

An on-site assessment identifies operational risk, existing controls, and areas that require development.

Step 3: Gap Analysis Report

A detailed report outlines what is in place, what is missing, and what needs to be built.

Step 4: System Development

OMHAS develops a complete safety management system that aligns policies, procedures, training, and internal accountability into a unified framework tailored to your operations.

Step 5: Implementation

The system is delivered with structured implementation guidance, workforce orientation, and operational support to ensure it becomes part of daily practice.

Step 6: Maintenance and Ongoing Oversight

Organizations may choose to maintain their systems through the OMHAS Maintenance Program, which provides ongoing oversight to ensure the system remains current and functional over time.

System Overview

OMHAS programs are developed using a structured modular architecture.

The framework includes up to 38 integrated program modules covering occupational health and safety management, hazard identification, training and competency, equipment safety, incident investigation, workplace inspections, preventive maintenance, and program review.

Each system is scaled to reflect the specific activities and operational realities of the organization. Modules are selected based on the operational needs of the organization. If a hazard does not exist in your workplace, that module is not included.

System Characteristics

Structured

Every system follows a consistent architecture that creates clarity for workers, supervisors, and management.

Scalable

Systems are designed to grow with the organization, from a single location to multi-site national operations.

Adaptable

Each system reflects the specific operations and regulatory environment of the organization, whether in one province or across multiple jurisdictions.

Integrated

Policies, procedures, training, and accountability mechanisms work together as one unified framework, not as disconnected documents.

Operational Results

Organizations that implement OMHAS systems gain clear operational structure for managing workplace safety.

The modular framework provides a consistent system for hazard identification, training accountability, workplace inspections, incident reporting, and program oversight.

Organizations are able to maintain structured safety programs that support internal management, workforce clarity, and external audit readiness.

Organizations pursuing contractor prequalification through ISNetworld, Avetta, or COR/CORE 2020 can learn more about how OMHAS systems support these requirements.
